• Certification service for Opacity Attenuators. The method we use ensures that the requirements of 40CFR60 Appendix B, Performance Specification 1 (PS1) are well met. We certify the opacity filters (attenuators) to a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable method and keep extensive records of the certification. We also send you reminders before your recertification is due, so you can avoid unnecessary delays.
• Cylinder Gas Audits. During Cylinder Gas Audits (CGA) a known concentration of specified gases are passed through the CEMS to establish if the measurements from the system meet a specified percentage of error. We will ensure the CEMS is operating well within the specifications, record the measurements, and prepare a thorough report for your site to satisfy the requirements for 40CFR60 and your local regulations.
• Linearity Tests. Analogous to the CGA for Part 60, Linearity Tests are performed in compliance with 40CFR75. We can help you prepare for these tests, and we will execute the testing, record the data, and generate a full report for your site.
• Relative Accuracy Tests Audit (RATA). The Relative Accuracy Test Audit (RATA) compares the data produced by your CEMS to independent Reference Method data. We can work together with your test team to achieve excellent RATA results while helping you avoid unnecessary delays and expenses.
